    Vancouver-born painter Molly Lamb Bobak (1920–2014) began her extraordinary career as the first Canadian female war artist sent overseas to depict scenes of women in military training. Dr. Michelle Gewurtz is the author of the new ACI publication Molly Lamb Bobak: Life & Work and Curator at the Ottawa Art Gallery. Dr. Laura Brandon is an award-winning writer, curator, and lecturer and former Historian, Art & War, at the Canadian War Museum. Together, in a discussion moderated by Sara Angel, ACI Founder and Executive Director, they will explore the impact and importance of Molly Lamb Bobak and Canada’s women war artists.
