    About

SHUVINAI ASHOONA’S REPOSITIONING OF INUIT ART

Inuit art is seldom part of the contemporary art canon. Shuvinai Ashoona’s work breaks this rule, and it has been exhibited internationally, including in Switzerland and Australia. This talk, featuring Nancy Campbell, author of the new book Shuvinai Ashoona: Life & Work in conversation with Sara Angel, director of the Art Canada Institute, investigates the remarkable trajectory of this singular artist.

    Free admission. RSVP at: eskerfoundation-angelcampbell.eventbrite.ca.
