Joyce Zemans author of Jock Macdonald: Life & Work
Zemans is an art historian, curator, art critic, teacher, and administrator who served as director of the Canada Council for the Arts from 1988 to 1992. In 2002 Zemans was appointed a Member of the Order of Canada in recognition of her contributions to Canadian arts and culture. She currently serves as director of the MBA Program in Arts and Media Administration at the Schulich School of Business, York University, Toronto.

Judith Rodger author of Greg Curnoe: Life & Work
Rodger is an adjunct professor in the Department of Visual Arts at Western University and a curator and art historian based in London, Ontario. In 1995 she catalogued the archival material of Greg Curnoe for the Art Gallery of Ontario, Toronto, where she became captivated by the artist’s extraordinary breadth of interests. Rodger has worked at Museum London, the McIntosh Gallery at Western University in London, and the Art Gallery of Ontario.

Sarah E.K. Smith author of General Idea: Life & Work
Smith is an art historian and curator who currently holds a Banting Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Alberta. She has held curatorial and academic appointments, including Curator of Contemporary Art at the Agnes Etherington Art Centre in Kingston; Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard University in Cambridge; and Fulbright Visiting Research Chair at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.

Nancy G. Campbell author of Shuvinai Ashoona: Life & Work
Campbell has been an independent curator of contemporary and Inuit art since 1993. She has produced exhibitions and writings for public museums across Canada and the UK and has worked at the Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery in Toronto and the Macdonald Stewart Art Centre at the University of Guelph. She has curated exhibitions on the artists Shuvinai Ashoona, Andrea Zittel, Annie Pootoogook, Christine Davis, Wim Delvoye, Zacharias Kunuk, and Brian Jungen. She is currently a PhD candidate at York University, Toronto.
